Agreement and age
By creating or using an account, you agree to these beta terms and the privacy notice. You must be at least 13. If you are age 13 through 17, a parent or legal guardian must give recorded permission before you use AI features.
Your account
Use an email address or Google account that belongs to you. Keep sign-in links private. Tell us promptly if you believe somebody else accessed your account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of material you create or upload. You give ScreenText a limited permission to store, process, display, and transmit that material only as needed to run features you request.
Do not upload or publish material you do not have the right to use. Do not upload private information about another person without permission.
Public decks and remixes
Decks are private unless you choose another setting. Publishing requires an adult account, a rights confirmation, and moderation. When you publish, you allow other learners to view and remix that deck inside ScreenText Study with attribution.
A remix becomes a separate learner copy. Its source title, creator name, and version attribution may remain if the original deck is later removed.
AI can be wrong
AI drafts, tutor answers, grading feedback, citations, and transcripts may contain mistakes. Check generated cards and sources before approving them. ScreenText Study is a learning aid, not medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
Do not misuse the service
- Do not harm, threaten, exploit, or impersonate another person.
- Do not publish illegal, hateful, sexually exploitative, or dangerously misleading material.
- Do not upload malware or try to bypass account, ownership, moderation, or usage controls.
- Do not scrape private or unlisted content, overload the service, or use it to build an unrelated dataset.
- Do not use AI features in a way that violates applicable law or the provider's safety rules.
We may hide content, limit features, or suspend an account when reasonably needed to protect learners or the service. Serious or repeated misuse may result in permanent removal.
The beta may change
The beta is provided without charge. Features, limits, models, and availability may change as we learn what works. We will try to give clear notice before a change that materially affects your content.
No online service is guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error free. Keep an export of material you cannot afford to lose.
Leaving the service
You can export your data or delete your account from Account settings. We may end the beta or close an account that violates these terms. The privacy notice explains deletion, backup, moderation, and attribution records.
Questions and changes
Email contact@screentext.net with a question. If these terms change materially, the updated date will change and we will provide notice appropriate to the change.
